No one is in charge.

Text (don’t know if it is a Savage quote): No one is in charge. And honestly, that’s even cooler. The idea of an ordered and elegant universe is a lovely one. One worth clinging to. But you don’t need religion to appreciate the ordered existence. It’s not just an idea, it’s reality. We’re discovering the hidden orders of the universe every day. The inverse square law of gravitation is amazing. Fractals, the theory of relativity, the genome: these are magnificently beautiful constructions.

Hypocrisy of the insane “moral majority” shines through.

Gibbs became pregnant aged 15, but lost the baby in December 2006 in a stillbirth when she was 36 weeks into the pregnancy. When prosecutors discovered that she had a cocaine habit – though there is not evidence that drug abuse had anything to do with the baby’s death – they charged her with the “depraved-heart murder” of her child, which carries a mandatory life sentence.

An Oregon City couple who treated their infant daughter with faith healing rather than take her to the doctor wee sentenced today in Clackamas Country circuit court to 90 days in jail and three years probation.

Charity and atheism go hand in hand.

Third richest person in the world. Pledged to give 99% of his wealth to charity. Warren Buffet is good without god.
Second richest person in the world. Donated over $26 billion to charity. Bill Gates is good without god.
The wealthiest Evangellical Christian in the world has donated almost nothing his entire career, and utilizes slave labor in a diamond mine in Africa. Pat robertson is a cruel heartless man.

What about Norway?

… and that, children, is why the secularization of America is directly responsible for the majority of our societal problems. We’ve turned our back on god and now we’re paying for it.

What about Norway?

What?

Well it’s a little confusing because according to their latest census, over 70% of the Norwegian Population is atheist. However, the golbal peace index rates Norway as the most peaceful nation in the world. They have the second highest GDP per capita in the world, an unemployment rate below 2 percent, the average hourly wages among the world’s highest. Also, Norway is ranked first int heworld in life expectancy, literacy, education and standard of living. All while being arguable the most atheist nation on the planet.

Well, thank you for the information, Russell. I hope they speak Norwegian in Hell!
