  1. it best in Dogma: When are you people going to learn? It’s not about who’s right or wrong. No diotminaoenn’s nailed it yet, because they’re all too self-righteous to realize that it doesn’t matter what you have faith in, just that you have faith. Your hearts are in the right place, but your brains gotta to wake up. It is my opinion that since atheists cannot prove there is no god, they should accept the possibility that there may actually be one. This is not the same as accepting that religion is absolutely correct, I do not believe that it is. I personally feel that if god were ever proved to exist, it would be vastly different from how christians imagine. On the flip side, I also feel that a religious person should not believe absolutely that there is a god, seeing as they do not have any proof either. Argue theology all you want, or the improbability/likelihood of a god, as long as you actually know what you are talking about. But going around flat-out denying or professing the existence of god is not something you can back up, no matter how logical or rational you are.A lot of the new’ atheists are fundamentalists, and have no real right to being calling themselves atheists.
